By booking or receiving services from Arch City Detail, you (“the customer”) acknowledge and agree to the following terms regarding vehicle condition, liability, and service limitations.

🛑 General Disclaimer

While we take the utmost care with every vehicle, detailing involves processes that may reveal or interact with existing damage, wear, or flaws. Arch City Detail is not responsible for:

  • Pre-existing damage (e.g., scratches, dents, paint defects, clear coat failure)

  • Wear and tear on aged, oxidized, or compromised surfaces

  • Issues resulting from previous detailing, bodywork, or improper maintenance

  • Color mismatch from oxidized paint or faded finishes after cleaning

🧼 Interior Cleaning Disclaimer

  • We will do our best to remove stains, odors, and buildup, but permanent damage or discoloration may not be correctable.

  • Some materials (e.g., suede, Alcantara, delicate trim) may be sensitive to cleaning and may not be serviceable beyond a light cleaning.

  • Customer must remove valuables and personal items before service. We are not responsible for lost or damaged items left in the vehicle.

🚗 Exterior Detailing Disclaimer

  • Aggressive contaminant removal (e.g., sap, tar, iron) may impact older or damaged paint surfaces.

  • Clay bar and machine polishing services are performed carefully, but minor defects may remain, especially if the clear coat is compromised.

  • We are not responsible for damage to aftermarket parts, paint protection films, wraps, or ceramic coatings unless disclosed in advance and approved for treatment.

🔋 Battery & Electronics

  • If the vehicle is left running or doors are left open for extended periods (for interior work), battery drain may occur. We recommend ensuring your battery is in good health before service.

  • We are not liable for battery issues or malfunctioning aftermarket electronics that arise during or after service.

🔍 Pre-Service Inspection

A walkaround and/or photos may be performed before service to document the vehicle’s condition. Customers are encouraged to point out any areas of concern or special instructions prior to service.

📝 Waiver of Liability

By receiving services from Arch City Detail, the customer agrees to release and hold harmless Arch City Detail, its owners, and employees from any and all liability for:

  • Cosmetic or functional damage not directly caused by negligence

  • Reactions or defects revealed by detailing products

  • Pre-existing mechanical or electrical issues unrelated to our services

By booking or accepting services, you confirm:

  • You are the vehicle owner or authorized to approve service

  • You understand the potential risks involved with detailing

  • You have read and agree to the terms in this Liability Waiver & Service Disclaimer
